Serious Eats

At Serious Eats, we’re skeptical. We’re generally anti-trend. We’re dubious of a new product until we’ve thoroughly vetted it. We don’t think something’s worth buying just because it’s a few bucks off. But even our most dubious of editors (it’s me!) gets ridiculously excited every year for Amazon Prime Day. During this sales event, Amazon slashes prices on thousands and thousands of products, including our favorite tried-and-true kitchen gear

Amazon just announced that Prime Day will take place July 8 through 11 this year—that’s two days longer than usual. There are sure to be deals and steals aplenty, but we rounded up our favorite early sales you can get right now. As always, we’re only featuring products we’ve rigorously and independently tested.

The Best Early Prime Day Deals

  • The Best Insulated Tumbler: Stanley Quencher H2.O FlowState Tumbler

    Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler

    Amazon

We love drinking water from an insulated tumbler. A good one keeps water cold, holds a lot of liquid, and doesn’t leak much when tipped over. The Stanley tumbler checks all of those boxes—and, right now, it’s 40% off.
