A High-Tech Wireless Probe Thermometer: ThermoWorks RFX Wireless Probe Starter Kit
Thermoworks
If you're my brother, stop reading now! He's an avid barbecuer and smoker and usually makes a phenomenal brisket or prime rib for our family's Christmas dinner. I'll be gifting him our favorite wireless thermometer a little early this year, so he can monitor its progress from the warmth of his house. Yeah, I am a great sister.

Leftovers Containers We Love: Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass Food Storage Containers, 9-Pack
Amazon
“I feel like I buy these every Cyber Monday, but food storage containers do have a way of walking off when you're not looking—our household always needs more of these. My partner meal preps with them and brings at least two to work every day. I also find them useful for leftovers! The lids are air- and watertight, so food stays fresh for longer and liquids don't leak.” — Rochelle Bilow, editor

Tablescape-Worthy Flatware: Made In 20-Piece Flatware Set
Amazon
“I hate my flatware. I’m actually embarrassed to pull it out for guests—it's that overly ornate kind with little floral engravings curling down the handles, the kind your grandma probably saves in a velvet-lined box. Mine, unfortunately, live in my kitchen drawer, clinking around as a daily reminder that they were a gift from an ex's mother. Every time I’m at a restaurant admiring the sleek lines of their silverware, I swear I’ll finally replace mine. I’ve been eyeing the Made In flatware set for a while now, and I think it’s finally time.” — Laila Ibrahim, associate culinary editor

The Best Lemon and Lime Juicer: Chef'n Freshforce Citrus Juicer
Amazon
“Every year, someone on the team says they're buying this because it's on sale, and this year it's gonna be me (that's sung like NSYNC, by the way). I always have a bowl of lemons ready for dressings, sauces, and desserts. Per our tests, this manual citrus juicer makes quick work of squeezing out every last drop. No mess, no wringing, no squirting lemon juice into your eyes. I can't wait to get it.” — Grace Kelly, senior editor

A Phenomenal Vacuum Sealer: Anova Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro
Amazon
The basic vacuum sealer I've had for the last decade has been well-loved and heavily used, but it's not sealing the way it used to. So, I've got my eye on an upgrade—the Anova Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro—to gift to myself this holiday season. Unlike the one I currently have, it has no refractory period, so I can seal up bulk portions of meat without having to wait in between each bag.

An Award-Winning Set of Lid Covers: Stasher Stretch Lids
Amazon
“These reusable, dishwasher-safe, oven-safe silicone lids seal tight like cellophane, but aren't single-use. They were among the winners in our first-ever Serious Eats Gear Awards, and they will soon be joining my home kitchen collection as well.” — Daniel Gritzer, editorial director
A Single-Serve Coffee Maker We Recommend: AeroPress Original Coffee Maker
Amazon
“I grew up in a two-pots-of-coffee-a-day household and now live with a roommate who doesn't drink coffee in any form, and I simply must stop buying $11 lattes. All that to say: I'm treating myself to an AeroPress Coffee Maker this Cyber Monday. I might go for the blue or purple one, for the whimsy.” — Amanda Suarez, associate director, visuals

A Rice Cooker That Measures for You: KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker
Amazon
“My parents are practical people. I keep that in mind when holiday shopping for them! This Christmas, I'm giving them the KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker, and I'll be taking advantage of a big Cyber Monday discount—it’s $100 off! It's the sort of gift they'll really appreciate but would never buy for themselves. I know it's worth the purchase because I tested it and own one myself. I love the fact that I can use it to cook rice, quinoa, beans, oatmeal, and more. They're going to love that an internal scale does all the measuring for them.” — Rochelle

A Fantastic Ceramic Nonstick Pan: Le Creuset Essential Nonstick Ceramic Shallow Frying Pan
Amazon
“This summer, I got a set of two ceramic skillets. After maybe two or three uses, they both chipped. I was pretty miffed! So I'm not messing around when I buy my next ceramic skillet: I'm getting one of our winners from Le Creuset, which is 20% off. It's sleek and lightweight, and most importantly, it won't chip after a handful of times making scrambled eggs!” — Grace

Get 40% Off All-Time Favorite Blender: Vitamix 5200 Professional-Grade Blender
Amazon
“I've been promising myself a Vitamix for years, and my birthday is right after Thanksgiving, so this could be the year! My justification—aside from my birthday and the fact that our top-rated Vitamix is almost half off—is that I'll save a ton of money by not buying $10 smoothies at my gym's café. It's a win-win-win.” — Megan O. Steintrager, associate editorial director

FAQs
When does Black Friday start and end?
Black Friday is technically only one day—the Friday after Thanksgiving, which is November 28 this year. Black Friday sales, on the other hand, vary from brand to brand, but many start the week of Thanksgiving. Many will be replaced by Cyber Monday discounts on December 1.
Is Cyber Monday still a thing?
You betcha! You can still find thousands of deals happening through Cyber Monday and beyond this year. We recommend starting with sales on our favorite splurge-worthy items like KitchenAid mixers, Breville espresso machines, and Vitamix blenders.
