Sharon Brenner is an Los Angeles-based food writer, home cook, and immigration lawyer. She is the founder of Records in the Den, a storytelling and people-gathering platform centered around food. Sharon has previously written for numerous independent food publications including Peddler Journal, Compound Butter, Life & Thyme and more. She self-published two small cookbooks about Greek food, having lived in Athens, Greece from 2014 to 2017.
Sharon is the creator of a unique video-based digital recipe platform guiding viewers through the art of homemade phyllo, and has taught numerous Greek pie-making classes. She also previously ran Athena Dinners, a Greek dinner series in Los Angeles. Additionally, Sharon previously hosted an original cookie pop-up where she partnered with organizations including MOCA, Virgil Normal, dublab, Acid Free Art Book Market, and more.
